Last November, the LePoidevin Group, along with Ben Rabidoux, hosted over 650 people at the Westin Bayshore for the “Vancouver Real Estate – What’s Next?” event.  As a result of the overwhelmingly positive feedback we received, we will once again be joined by housing analyst, Ben Rabidoux, as a part of the 2013 World MoneyShow.  The presentation will touch on many of the themes discussed last November and will also provide an update on the current condition of the market, and the impact it might have on your investment portfolio.

BEN RABIDOUX

Ben Rabidoux is one of Canada’s most recognized housing analysts. He is the lead Canadian analyst and strategist at Hanson Advisors, a California-based research firm, where he provides housing and macro economic data and analysis to institutional investors in Canada and the United States.

Ben’s unique perspective and ability to explain complex topics in a clear, understandable manner has made him a trusted source for media outlets in Canada and the US. He is regularly featured in Maclean’s, Canadian Business, The Globe and Mail, The Toronto Star, and CBC, among numerous others.

He will be bringing his unique perspective on the Canadian housing and mortgage market and deep, perhaps troubling insights into the state of the Toronto market, which he believes is facing a significant correction with broad implications for the economy and job market in ON.

DAVID LEPOIDEVIN

With over 25 years of experience in the investment industry, David LePoidevin is one of the top-ranked investment advisors at National Bank Financial, currently managing a portfolio of more than $600 million in assets.

David began his financial career in 1986 at the bond trading desk in Toronto. In 1988, he became an Investment Advisor at Richardson Greenshields and following its takeover by RBC Dominion Securities in 1996, continued on to become a Vice President at RBC Dominion Securities in May 1997. In 1999, he joined National Bank Financial. David was recognized as the Investment Advisor of the year finalist 2001, Investment Advisor of the year 2002 and one of the twelve members in the $250 million club in 2008.  Most recently David was awarded the Investment Advisor of the Year for excellence in portfolio management in 2011.
